How to properly create files
If you choose a product with folds (flyers, folders, etc.), please enter the settings and download the template – available in INDD or PDF formats – that you will need together with the exact calculation of the folds, which were already indicated.
1. Graphic file
We always suggest you check the folds by printing your file on paper, especially in order to check that the order and orientation of single folds are right. When you place the order, choose the Professional check so as to make sure your file is thoroughly checked by our preprinting department.
If the folds and the graphic designs are particularly complex, we suggest you attach to the order or send us by email a short video showing us how to open and close the folds of your folded flyer. In this way, you can provide us with your own interpretation of the work and therefore help us perform a more accurate check.
Checklist
Always remember that your file has to comply with the following features that apply to every file:
- 1:1 scale and 5mm bleed for each side
- CMYK colour model
- High-quality PDF
- Images resolution: 300ppi
- Always check the internal security margins.
