Image size
The right ratio.

Wallart by Sprint24.com always has the most suitable ratios for you! Custom size and different formats are always linked to harmonious ratios, as you can see from the “Ratios” that you can choose when setting up the product. Therefore, it is important to send your picture in the same ratio as the one indicated in the order. But how?

Here’s an example:
If, in the printing order, a format 50x70 (that is, ratio 4:3) has been selected, then creating a picture with the same ratio is essential. Here are some examples of sizes based on ratios:

Ratio Good Quality High-Quality
3:2 7,650 x 5,100 pixel 15,300 x 10,200 pixel
4:3 7,212 x 5,412 pixel 14,425 x 10,825 pixel
19:6 8,325 x 4,687 pixel 16,650 x 9,375 pixel
4:1 12,500 x 3,125 pixel 25,000 x 6,250 pixel

Resolution
It is all about details.

In visual arts, the details that make the difference are called pixels. Pixels are basically the dots making up an image. Therefore, they give an image its resolution, that is its visual quality. So, pixels are very important when printing pictures or images, because they determine their quality and beauty.
When you work on and edit an image, bear in mind the following two cases:

CASE 1: If you work with cm or mm, remember that resolution shall always be 300 dpi - Pixels/Inches.
CASE 2: If you work directly with pixels, you can keep the resolution at 72 dpi - Pixels/Inches

Remember to always check the chart showing ratios so as to make sure the picture you created has the right ratio. Do not worry if this information sounds a bit too technical and complicated: our graphic & preprinting department always checks the quality of your pictures and, in case there are any issues with your resolution, they will promptly inform you.

Colours
Vivid colours like never before.

Colours are the nourishment of images and the foundation of their beauty. Always remember to convert your pictures to the CMYK colour model and assign the sRGB profile in order for colours to be as similar as possible to the printed ones. Doing it is very simple.
Once you open your picture with Adobe Photoshop®, choose IMAGE>COLOR MODEL>CMYK. Then go to EDIT>ASSIGN PROFILE and choose the sRGB profile. This is the standard procedure, but you can also assign ICC profiles and Colour profiles to your pictures because, once printed, the chromatic profiles chosen will not be replaced.
